Well, it remains a family secret. There was a lot of finger pointing when I got home and my mom said she ran him off. To this day I'm not really sure.

My neighbor had taken two young birds out of the nest, as I look back, I would have preferred to have left him in the nest. He was quite the talk of my house, and many people came around to see him.

Still a great story. And I'm glad you had those experiences then.

I had a young Raven as a pet; he got me in most trouble with my family and when I went off to school he too mysteriously vanished. He stole keys, tore curtains, ate baby chicks, and generally terrorized my sisters. I sure missed that bird!

Sounds like you had a great pet! How did you come together it? And your family had no idea what happened to it!!!!

Interesting narrative!

I had a raven friend in the Colorado hills. It would come by in the evenings and land on the railing. I would go out and we would chat as it walked back and forth. Quite rewarding!

That's what good friends do!
