Thanks for allowing me to see birds—and a butterfly!—I will never see in the valley. Such beauties, even (maybe especially) the turkey. It's always a joy to see your posts pop up in my email.
What a nice variety of nature’s creatures and colours. I have been lucky enough to see many of the Northern Warblers in the last few days as they have returned to our area just north of Toronto. They are definitely busy and the bird watchers are enjoying the activity!
We've been to the monument several times. It's the overnight trip over to the other side of the mountains that we definitely need to knock out sooner rather than later.
What a GREAT variety of pictures from a very nice trip to the Chiricahuas. I especially like the bark and the turkey(those colors!) and the Northern Yellow Warbler(beautiful) photos.

Marylou, It would be nice to live in an area like yours where warblers are so common. Enjoy!!! Dan
Thanks for sharing Dan. We've been meaning to get over that way to stay for a night or two to explore the canyons on that side of the mountains.
Thanks Todd. It's worth the effort to go there. You'd enjoy it.

Nice!! The Mexican Cancer Root image is especially interesting.
It is a fascinating plant and the bees were all over it.
