Excellent photos of this adorable owl…especially the photo of him looking directly at you and the photos of him preening! Thx for sharing and for your patience in capturing these special moments that can’t be taken for granted! (When I went some folks had visited several times and had not yet seen its adorable face.)
Thanks Pete. I actually had a glimpse of a Northern Saw-whet Owl on my trip to the Skagit Flats in Washington in 2019. But that was a very short glimpse. This was still a very special visit and I'm glad so many people in Tucson and surrounding areas are getting the chance to see this bird.
