The cooler temperatures have created a flower bloom in my yard
Society garlic! Who names these species??
I'm not sure who gave it that common name, but name “society garlic” comes from the old rumor that this plant tastes like garlic without leading to bad breath. So I guess you can consume the plant in public without offending anyone!!
Gorgeous!
thank you!!
Beautiful flowers that I have never seen before. Thank you!
thanks Marylou
Wow! Made my colorful day
Thank you Karyn
"Now that the daytime temperatures have finally dropped into the comfortable 90’s"??
You've got to be kidding! You would really freeze here in Ottawa!!!!! Love your flowers, and your notes.
It does get a bit colder where you live!!! Still, we appreciate these drops of 20 degrees from our summer worst.
You have created a lovely sanctuary for people as well as for wildlife in your yard.
Thank you Michele
I love your diversion to flowers. I'm noticing some rain heading to Tucson, hopefully more blooms are on the way.
The rain is very much needed!!!
