What's Blooming on My Porch
Despite the summer's heat, the flowers persist
Most of these shots are of flowering plants in pots. One of my adenium (desert rose) plants is flowering.
Here is the same flower from a more direct angle.
A Bishop's Cap cactus flowers periodically.
The flower from another angle. You can see the remnants of prior flowers around this one.
This flower is on a Glory of Texas cactus (I believe that's its name).
It is a pretty shade of pink/purple.
A Whitethorn Acacia plant is flowering. I have Cat's Claw Acacia in the yard and the Whitethorn is in the nearby desert. The Cat’s Claw is not flowering at this moment.
