They are special. A couple of years ago I was up in Paradise AZ during fall migration time. I could hear but not see them flying over the Chiricahuas. Pretty cool
These are magnificent birds and magnificent photos! I got strangely emotional seeing their beauty and hearing their sounds. It must be a very special experience to see them each year!
When we lived in Tucson, we used to go to the Whitewater Draw to see the sandhill cranes. This brings back fond memories.
