I live in Bellingham looking out to the San Juan Islands. I’d encourage you to return and visit Orcas and Lopez Islands. They are different and offer so much. Take the Turtleback Mtn. Hike on Orcas and get a breath taking view of many surrounding islands at the top of the mtn. or go to the lookout at Moran State Park and see Mt. Baker at the distance and the Canadian range. Anacortes where you take the ferry to the San Juans has Mt. Erie that has incredible views too in case your readers can’t get to the Islands, beauty is everywhere in the Pacific Northwest!
Thanks, Dan for the inspiration. I’m going up to Bellingham and Vancouver this summer. I’d love to go see the San Juan Islands after looking at your pictures.
These photos make me want to go there!
It's that kind of place!
Looks like an awesome lace Dan!
It was pretty awesome Laura!
Great pictures and memories!
Thanks Shelly

Art, You would really enjoy the place. I'd be happy to share what I've learned with you.
Now I have to see the islands for myself. Thank you for the inspiration to travel.
You are in that neck of the woods often and that would be a side-trip that would be worthwhile.
Beautiful images, Dan.
Thanks Steve
