These are excellent pictures. We almost never see javalinas doing anything but standing around, or running away. Good to glimpse more normal behaviors. Thanks!
Thanks so much! Sending this heartwarming and informative series to my grandchildren, none of whom have ever seen a javelina. Haven't yawned yet. Think you have to be there, but I'll read up at your links. Really look forward to your Arizona nature tributes, especially when we're covered in snow. (But it looks really Christmasy here, and they shoot a lot of holiday movies about 30 minutes from here in Almonte. My mantra is "Enjoy what you have!")
Fun family dynamic to watch.
Thanks Laura. It sure was fun!!
I love the yawn!
That was a BIG yawn.
You must have an awesome backyard, between Desert Roses, birds and javelins. Thanks for sharing.
It is a nice one, thanks.

I do enjoy seeing unusual and different animal behaviors. Glad you do too.
A lovey peak in the life of this sweet family!
Thanks

Yes, we all should enjoy what we have!! I hope your grandchildren enjoy this peak at what was part of your Tucson life. Take care.
