I have especially enjoyed your pictures, Dan, while in Tucson. Now en route home to Nova Scotia, Canada, in time for our wood warblers and so many, many vagrant visitors. Have great Birdathon fun.
What a gourmet feast for the eye, the lens, and the spirit. I'm always thrilled when I spot a single Kestrel, and I appreciate your taking the time and effort to share your shots and knowledge.
I live east of Cody, WY with 4 acres on Sage Creek. We have lots of bird life here. In March, the sandhill cranes arrive, then our lone blue heron. The redwing black birds are here in force in our cattail swamp. Mallards on the creek. A big flock of pheasants and also many Hungarian partridge. A resident harrier. My husband is building a platform for a hawk nest. Anyway, I am enjoying your photos and all the great info. -Carrie
Thank you for your amazing photographs and information about the birds around us. I was so excited when I saw an American Kestrel for the first time a few years ago.
I learn so much from each of your posts, Dan, and this is such a great way to use and share a series of great shots of a fascinating bird...instead of trying to choose just one!
Beautiful shots of beautiful birds, Dan!
Thank you. They look like they were designed by an artist!
