Thanks so much for the Yellow-billed Cuckoo shots. I've never seen one and didn't know they came to Tucson. I've got an Evening Grosbeak coming to my front yard feeder here in Ottawa, but haven't got a good shot of it off the feeder yet.
Thanks Ned. That's a tough bird to find and it took a while to even find it in the tree where we saw it fly. Lucky to have one clean window through the canopy to shoot it.
Beautiful work!
Thank you Katrina
The yellow-billed cuckoo is pretty special! Congratulations!
Thank you Laura
Great find of the Cuckoo. I hope to see one some day.
Thanks Calvin. They are a tough one to find. Good luck.
I especially love the blue beaks, the male Vermilion Flycatcher and the duckweed.
Thank you
Dan, great post, many thanks. I love the photos of the yellow billed cuckoo! They’re really hard to find! Many thanks!
Thanks Henry. I know how special it was- lucky me!!
Nice photos! Those "teenage" Vermilions are always fun to see.
thanks Michele
Love these pix and info.
Do you have Pileated Woodpeckers in your area? I get such a thrill when I see or hear them in Wisconsin.
We do not have pileated woodpeckers here. I enjoyed seeing one on a trip to Ohio a few years ago.

I would've to see an Evening Grosbeak!! You'll get your shot one day.
