One morning we saw three different groups of deer
They are so well camouflaged among the prairie grasses!
Their color is both beautiful and functional.
Haven't seen a good picture of the velvet covering of new antlers. Thank you.

The velvet was very thick!!
Their ears don't look nearly as large as those on the mule deer that I see.
The deer themselves were quite small, bigger than our Coues’ but not as big as our Mule Deer
